My name is Oyella Caroline Yeko, founder of Boyhood Echoes, a community-based organization supporting boys aged 9 to 17

Many boys grow up facing challenges that often go unnoticed. Some struggle to access basic scholastic materials, while others carry emotional pain, fear, confusion and pressure without a safe place to speak. When boys are taught to remain silent about their struggles, that silence can follow them into adulthood.

At Boyhood Echoes, we believe every boy deserves to be heard, supported and given the opportunity to thrive. We provide scholastic materials and create safe spaces where boys can express themselves, receive mentorship and develop emotionally, socially and academically.

We are currently planning school visits and mentorship sessions to reach more boys in our communities. Through these visits, we hope to provide educational support, mentorship and meaningful conversations that can help boys build confidence, resilience and healthier relationships.
