The Story

Help 300 Girls Stay in School with Dignity Kits

For many girls and teenage mothers in underserved communities in Uganda, access to menstrual hygiene products and basic support can be a major challenge. These challenges can affect their education, confidence, health, and ability to build a better future.

Voice of Africa Children (VOAC) established international nonprofit organization in Northern Uganda , with our We work with children, young people, teenage mothers, schools, and communities, focusing on girls’ education, menstrual health and hygiene, child wellbeing, school support, and community outreach.

We are launching this campaign with a goal of raising UGX 18, 000,000 ($5,000 USD) to support 300 girls and teenage mothers with dignity kits and menstrual health and hygiene education.

The dignity kits will include reusable menstrual pads and other essential menstrual hygiene supplies. Alongside the kits, we aim to provide menstrual health education, information, encouragement, and support that can help girls and teenage mothers manage their menstrual health with greater dignity and confidence.

In June 2026, Voice of Africa Children conducted a menstrual health and hygiene outreach at Lugede Primary School in Lamwo District, where we supported approximately 100 girls through menstrual health education and the distribution of reusable menstrual pads.

This experience showed us how important this support is and how many more girls and young mothers still need it.

Our vision goes beyond providing menstrual products. We want to help girls stay in school, continue their education, and have opportunities to build independent and productive futures. We also want to support teenage mothers who may have already faced challenges that interrupted their education, helping them access information, encouragement, and opportunities to rebuild their futures.

Through education, mentorship, menstrual health support, and community engagement, we hope to contribute to preventing teenage pregnancy and early marriage while supporting girls and young mothers who are already facing these challenges.

Your support can help us:

- Provide reusable menstrual pads and essential hygiene supplies.
-Support girls and teenage mothers with menstrual health education.
-Help girls remain engaged in school during their menstrual periods.
-Encourage girls to continue their education and pursue their goals.
- Support teenage mothers as they work toward rebuilding their education and future.
-Promote awareness and community dialogue around teenage pregnancy and early marriage.
-Promote dignity, confidence, wellbeing, and better opportunities for girls and young mothers.
-Reach more underserved communities across Uganda.

Our Goal
UGX 18, 000,000( $5,000 USD)
300 girls and teenage mothers
One goal: Help girls stay in school with dignity and support young mothers toward a better future.

Every contribution brings us closer to reaching another girl or young mother.

Support a girl. Support a young mother. Protect her dignity. Invest in her future.
