Crowd Sourcing for App Development to help Struggling Local Artists

Following Parliament’s passing of the copyright law, I saw this as an opportunity to develop an app and business solution to support the local artists, so they can finally earn from their work what they really deserve for all their efforts and hard work.
Uganda has the lowest paid artists in the world compared to the music artists in the western world or even here in Africa in countries like Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria where music artists are making millions of dollars for their work.
I saw this as an opportunity to tap into an industry which is under-commercialized and under-monetized

The Solution:
To develop a mobile streaming application which will help Uganda’s artists earn from their work and motivate them to record and release more music, as a result growing our music industry and putting it at the same level with Nigeria and South Africa.

I need funds to help finish the project and to bring it to market.
Anyone who contributes to this project will become a share holder and will benefit from the proceeds generated when the app is finally operating on the market.
